Sorry, another short post!

Bought a dress for my 1 year anniversary with Felix.

Dress from Forever 21.

Also picked up two books from Barnes & Noble. I went to get my favorite magazine, Z!NK, but they didn't have the new issue out yet.

I'm excited to try out the homemade facial masks in Babushka's Beauty Secrets.

Felix showed me the outfit he wore to meet the head of HR at his new job.

Yes, my 20 year old boyfriend has a framed poster of Pokemon in his bedroom... Lol <3.

And a cute wall decoration with kittens. Disregard my toe in the corner.

Working the asian persuasion on me, hahaha.

And to end this post tonight I'll share a short clip of Gizmo before she was shaved.

Short post today. The boyfriend and I were invited to go see a free screening of The Last Airbender.

Met up with Eddie, his girlfriend Roseanne, and Eddie's co-worker. The movie was horrible. Seriously. The acting was pathetic and the lines were horrendously hilarious. Granted, I went just to see the cool effects and action, but the terribleness of the movie just overpowered any potential level of coolness that it could have had. I would never pay to see it, and I'm so glad we didn't have to. Really though, everyone was bursting out laughing when scenes weren't meant to be funny. And to top it off, I fell asleep around the middle-end of the movie.

Afterwards Felix and I headed over to Penang for dinner. We needed something to be worth our time and trip to Boston, seeing as the movie was a total fail.

Went home right after dinner.

June 28, 2010 -- Shaved Kitty

My cat Gizmo had gone missing for a whole day. We found her outside around 3 in the morning. The next morning my mom and I decided she needed a serious cleaning for the summer. We cut her knots out, trimmed her nails, and shaved her once long and beautiful fur. After spending over 2 hours shaving Gizmo we gave her a refreshing bath.

She looks like she's about to bitch slap my mom with her chubby paw, lol.

She's so skinny now :(! It looks like Gizmo shed 20 pounds. I think she should model in those weight loss advertisements on TV.

Last night finally got a picture of the moustache house that we always drive by on the way to Porter!

Spent the day with May and Juliana in Boston!

Met up with May near Downtown Crossing.

While we waited for Juliana to come, we hung around in Macy's.

We went to eat at Samurai nearby. Forgot to take photos of the restaurant, we were too deep in conversation.

Afterwards we thought it was going to start raining so we went to see the movie Grown Ups with Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, Rob Schneider, and Salma Hayek. Salma played Adam Sandler's wife, a famous fashion designer. I liked her's and Chris Brown's characters best. The movie was filled to the brim with great comedy, as you'd expect from the cast.

However, there was an interesting, touching underlying meaning to the movie-- parents reconnecting with their children. It's important for ourselves to take time away from our hectic schedules and connect with our families. Today it seems families are growing farther apart with little interest or care in each other. To see the fathers and mothers trying to build stronger bonds with their kids was great. Today our younger generations are getting so tied into technology that they lose touch with reality. Kids don't play outside or use their imagination like they used to. Watching the parents teach their kids how to play like they used to was very touching and warmed my heart.
